Hello, I am Rachel Hartanto and I am happy to be a part of Ampheros Media as a member of the Website Creation team and Graphic Design team!
Working with Ampheros as a website developer and a graphic designer is a dedication of mine, but I am also an intern in the Department of IT of the City of San Diego which serves the local population of 1.4 million by making sure that employees can work with good internet, access to tools, and cyber security even away from the office.
I have always had an interest and a passion in putting work towards something and having an end result to show for it. In that way I love arts and crafts and learning new forms of media; I have worked in knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, ink, watercolor, sketching, stamp making, digital art, graphic design, and more. My current obsession is quilt making, gouache painting, and vector art. I want to use this passion in production, as well as a trained eye for visual aesthetic, for application on the internet to create appealing web pages which portray the values and all information that they hope to communicate to their audience.
Ampheros seeks to communicate ideas and concepts that can be popular and already may be spoken often about among circles because of their novelty, but what is different and unique about what Ampheros delivers is its perspective in the eyes of high schoolers around the world. Through Ampheros, high schoolers can speak their minds about the issues that they feel are important and need exposure. I feel that to that end, a great website is necessary to promote such media which brings a new freshness to the word “news.” I work hard in the hope that I can sufficiently represent Ampheros through the design of the website.
Nice to meet you!
