Hi! I’m Abby, a senior in high school from Minnesota. At Ampheros, I create illustrations for our various projects and social media posts. I believe illustration is a powerful medium of communication and I hope to express myself and the writers of Ampheros through it. Outside of graphic design, I enjoy making comics, sewing costumes for theatre, and playing Animal Crossing.
Although I love exploring the incredible history, science, and various systems that make up our world, I find myself most drawn to the arts–specifically the art of storytelling. The journey of experiencing a good movie, novel, comic, or video game elicits emotions and memories in away nothing else can. From the Disney movies we watch as children to the journalism and music we experience now, storytelling is essential to our culture, education, and interests. I hope my artwork can help tell the stories and opinions of everyone at Ampheros.
